Weekly Geophysical: 08 Mar 2013


Summary of report week: USGS is listing 24 events, EMSC is listing 27 events and GFZ Potsdam is listing 28 events. You can view each of these listings below. No active category force storms. Max xx actively erupting volcanoes over and above the 17 always erupting.

My apologies but I have still to catch up with volcanoes and storms. Not enough hours in the day at present.

Using converted magnitudes (mb to Mw etc) USGS converts to 79 events and EMSC converts to 83 events. Potsdam events cannot normally be converted as the scale is not known.
