Earthquake swarm in the Gulf Of Aden

There is currently a swarm of earthquakes on going in the Gulf of Aden It started yesterday (13 Nov 2010) with some mag 3 and is ramping up.

Details, graphs and Google Earth plot can be viewed here

Is this just a swarm because of some plate movement or are we looking at a series of fore-shock before a much bigger earthquake?

This swarm is very close to an undersea volcano which the Smithsonian has listed as unnamed and in an uncertain state.

A submarine volcano in the Gulf of Aden between Yemen and Somalia was listed by Rudolph (1887), von Wolff (1914), and Sapper (1917) with no mention of the date of its activity (Neumann van Padang, 1963). The validity of these reports is uncertain.

Download a Google Earth KMZ file giving the location of the sea-mount from 4Shared.com.
